Synopsis: “Umeed” (hope) is basically about people living at the border areas and their living conditions. The endeavor of making this documentary was to bring the lives of those people into limelight that for much area though being a part of free India are somehow living in the shadows of fear and sorrow.

This documentary tries to capture their emotions that pull them towards India, their memories and the treatment given to them by our country men.
