Synopsis: Dhobis play an integral part since the formation of Indian society. These people are those who can make an individual look civilized; they make space for someone to stand in this society. Dhobis are the one whose work can be seen behind the starched uniforms, their work is witness for all dresses of kings and knights. All the dhobis of particular areas work together in their so called temple Dhobighat. Also, I wanted to make people sensitive to hard work put in them to make them look good and presentable in the society for which they are paid no credit.
