Synopsis: The drummers, locally known as “Dhakis” in Bengal, move to the urban localities during festivals and fairs. This programme deals with one such professional rural group of drummers, as they visit the town during a popular festival.

The location shooting at their village reveals the socio-economic condition of this group. The programme also voices their problems and aspirations as they speak with the process of making these drums.
